CanPrev Oil of Oregano, 15ml in an MCT Oil Base

Oil of Oregano is a powerful medicinal tincture with thousands of years of use as a herbal remedy. CanPrev's Oil of Oregano starts with wildcrafted oregano from the Mediterranean mountains, which is then steam, distilled to extract the precious oil. Steam distillation is the preferred method for extracting most essential oils and preserving their medicinal components.

Carvacrol is one of the components found in oregano oil that has shown potent antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Our Oil of Oregano contains a minimum of 75% naturally occurring carvacrol. The oil is suspended in a medium chain triglyceride base made from coconut and palm oils. These oils are preferred over olive oil since they do not become oxidized due to light or heat exposure.
